I am beyond happy with the toilet replacement service done by Elvis! He was very nice, explained everything. It’s an old house, so not 100% standard and required some elbow grease. He put in a great effort, not just with the replacement, but cleaning the area, and dealing with some tricky parts. The price was also very fair. I would definitely recommend or call again. Elvis did excellent work on what I thought was a sewer drain problem but turned out to be something else. After the first visit, Elvis explained to me in detail his thought process, including drawing diagrams for me on his phone, and gave his recommendations. He then came out for a second visit to install a new toilet and check the drain line, which improved my initial toilet plumbing issue. The work was done carefully, cleanly, and Elvis satisfied my curiosity by answering all my questions while he was doing his work. In the end I feel I can trust these guys to just do work that is required, while keeping my informed, so I understand the what, why, and how. High recommendations from me.

We live in an 85-year-old building with some original fixtures. Since we moved into the building 15 years ago, I had been putting off some plumbing issues which should have been addressed at least 15 years before we moved in. I was hoping that things could wait until I retired and then we could do a complete reno. Such was not to be, and my significant other was very displeased to put it mildly.

I reached out to several plumbers suggested by our property manager. None of them seemed very interested in the work. I suppose they were all too aware of the challenges which older buildings can present. I then reached out to several more plumbers after doing some online searching.

Dr. Pipe got back to me with an estimate within an hour of my uploading to their contact page a description of the work needed along with photos. They said they could have a plumber out to me the following morning.

I was very impressed by Elvis, the plumber who showed up shortly after 9:00 the next morning. Whenever there was an issue, he would clearly explain what the issue was and the ways in which it could be addressed without attempting to sway me one way or the other. He was very conscientious and had an incredible work ethic. Although it was going to be a two-day job, rather than stopping at 5:00 on the first day, Elvis worked until 8:00 in the evening to ensure that we had a functioning toilet and water in our kitchen.

Would definitely recommend Dr. Pipe to anyone in need of a plumber. Not only did they fix our plumbing issues, they also saved my marriage.
