Weeping tile is a porous pipe for underground drainage. The pipe is typically plastic with small slits cut lengthwise into it. It is buried and surrounded by aggregate larger than slits. The aggregate rocks prevent excessive soil from failing through the slits into the weeping tile. With this arrangement, water in the surrounding soil flows into the weeping tile. The weeping tile then drains into a storm sewer or a sump pump.

Step 1. we start from a leaking basement, we identified that the result of the leak are cracks in the foundation and old clay weeping tiles.
Step 2. We carefully excavate around the perimeter of the house and find all the old clay weeping tiles:
Step 3. After excavating we clean the foundation and remove old clay weeping tiles:
Step4. We put a new concrete layer on the foundation wall to prevent any future cracks that might lead to leaks:
Step 5. We add new weeping tiles and branch for the window well, for the added security we also membrane and grave on the top of the weeping tile. At this stage the basement becomes full waterproof and it is virtually impossible to break the barrier regardless of the amount of the water flow.
